  • Audition Preparation - You'll send me your monologues/sides/scenes that you'd like to work on and we'll enhance the material together through: text exploration and numerous acting games and exercises.

  • Material Recommendations - We'll discuss your character type, age range, and strengths through constructive feedback and I'll decipher monologues & scenes that I think would be a great fit for you.

  • The Business of Acting - The do's and don't's of having a successful audition, how to get representation such as an agent and/or manager, self-promotion, discussions about professionalism, etc.

Clients have said...

“Nick is warm, open, and professional. His coaching style is totally actor-driven and made me feel comfortable and confident going into my audition. Nick has a way of boiling down the material to a simple and understandable level, allowing the performer to feel natural and connected. I was grateful for the opportunity to work with him and would recommend him highly!” -Tom V.

“I highly recommend working with Nick. During our sessions, I was able to find things in myself that I had never found before. Whether it was through scene work or fine tuning my monologues, Nick opened my eyes to help me portray an honest and intelligent piece of art. Plus, I had fun the entire time.” -Zach P.

“I started taking voice lessons with Nick about a year and a half ago, and when I wanted to learn more about acting and asked for a few lessons, Nick didn’t hesitate. And he’s been just as much of a joy to work with as an acting coach!” In fact, we have so much fun that by the time we reach the end of the lesson, I don’t know where the time went. And yet I learned so much. He opens every lesson with improv games, which not only help to shake out ideas and sharpen creative reflexes, but develop a safe space where you can make bold choices (that may or may not go as you planned) and be met with encouragement and direction, rather than judgement. Nick also does a wonderful job of structuring lesson activities that help you discover how to better embody your character without him ever telling you what to think. Best of all, Nick loves his work with a frankly contagious enthusiasm that always leaves me grinning ear-to-ear after every lesson. I can’t recommend him enough!” -Heather B.
